Chronic vs. Catastrophic Failures of TSF’: EcoVAP’s Value-Add for Either

Chronic vs. Catastrophic Failures of TSF’: EcoVAP’s Value-Add for Either

April 2, 2025

This Linked In article makes an important distinction between the much more visible “catastrophic” failures of Tailings Storage Facilities (“TSFs”) vs. the much more common “chronic” failures of seepage, leaks, erosion, etc., particularly of the inactive and abandoned TSFs.  For either challenge, EcoVAP’s ability to inexpensively dewater the TSF can be a silver bullet.  However, given the relatively easy disassembly and mobility of the Evaporative Matrices, EcoVAP is particularly suited for end-of-life closure and remediation of TSF’s to avoid this “chronic” cost and environmental challenges.
