“... daily water meter data indicate that the Evaporation Tower is 59 times more efficient in evaporating water..."
In 2017, EcoVAP challenged one of the most respected engineering firms in the world, Golder Associates, to evaluate our technology’s performance under their most rigorous testing standards. Golder subjected an EcoVAP oil-field wastewater collection site near Myton, Utah to months of scrutiny and meticulous evaluation using a suite of sensors and 24 hour video surveillance. The results at the end of the testing period were astounding. Golder showed that the EcoVAP solution evaporated wastewater 5900% faster than the conventional control solution.
In this 2017 assessment, Golder tested EcoVAP’s Generation 1 evaporation technology, which has undergone significant redesign and optimization. Based upon EcoVAP’s internal testing since that time, we are confident that during Golder’s next certification our Generation 3 solution will be shown to be almost twice as effective as Generation 1 at evaporating wastewater.
EcoVAP commissioned the respected Natural Resources and Environmental Management Department at Ball State University to conduct a formal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of our Evaporative Matrix solution. After careful review, the department found that the EcoVAP solution proved to be “an environmentally sound technology for accelerated removal of oil and gas wastewater across a significantly reduced land area. The study further concluded that EcoVAP’s proprietary approach completely eliminated or dramatically reduced many of the adverse environmental impacts and risks posed by the most common disposal methods."
REQUEST A COPYECOVAP is extremely pleased that its water technology has been embraced by the energy and mining sectors. We are also confident that our unique technology offers tremendous value to many other industrial sectors including thermoelectric-nuclear power, desalination, commercial cooling, road and salt manufacturing, aerobic municipal sewage, agribusiness run-off, pulp and paper, and textile dye wastewater.
LEARN ABOUT OUR WATER DESALINATIONOur third generation of panels can now be manufactured in partnership with existing injection molding operations found in most major countries around the world. Insteadof shipping hundreds of thousands of evaporative panels, we simply send several 23,000 lbs molds to the fulfillment center closest to the project site, and begin large scale manufacturing locally.
